Carsina was born, educated and has worked in Henley-in-Arden. She has lived in the town all her life. She hopes to spend the rest of her life in the town and naturally she cares very much about it. She has served on the Parish Council for fourteen years.

Les came to Henley in the late 1950's on his marriage to fellow Councillor Carsina, and has been involved in all aspects of Town life ever since. He was a member of the very successful Forest of Arden Football Team in the 1960s and early 1970s. Together with the late Ivor Johnson and Derek Sharman he was responsible for reviving the Henley Carnival with great success. He was secretary and Treasurer of a thriving Sports and Social Club. He was organiser of the very successful Henley in Bloom during the 1990s culminating in their becoming regional winners in 1997. He became Treasurer of the Henley-in-Arden & District Royal British Legion in 1993 and Secretary and Treasurer in 1996. He formed and became Secretary and Treasurer of the lively Henley-in-Arden and district Ex Services Social Fund in 2001. He ws appointed Chairman and Treasurer of the newly formed Beaudesert & Henley Christmas Lights Working Party in 2007. He became a judge for the Heart of England in Bloom in 1998, and was appointed Senior Judge in 2006 and chairman and Senior Judge in 2007. He became a Parish Councillor in 2008.

David Hadley, born 1935 in Birmingham. Educated at KEGS Camp Hill. After 2 years National Service with the RAF in the Far East joined the Firestone Tyre and Rubber Company. Reached position of Sales Promotion Manager for the U.K. Started his own automotive business in 1970 and developed a successful import/export tyre company. Retired in 1995.
Lived in Warwickshire since 1985. Rowington 1985 - 1998. Shelfield Green 1998 - 2006. Moved to Henley High Street in early 2007.

Roger joined the Parish Council in November 2005. He moved to Henley about five years ago so he could live closer to his sister. For some sixteen years he owned his own coach company in Luton, Bedfordshire. Roger became disabled seven years ago. He is very interested in local issues and wanted to join the Parish Council in order to contribute to the community.

Bill Leech was born in Warwickshire in 1942, educated in Warwickshire at Rugby School and lived in Wootton Wawen in 1960s and 1970s, in Claverdon during the 1980s and 1990s and moved to the High Street in Henley in 2001. He will be President of the Henley Rotary Club in 2008/9.
He worked in the motor industry with Austin, Lucas and Smiths before founding a successful mobile telecoms company in 1980s. He is now the joint owner of a Business Brokers in Stratford upon Avon.

John has been a councillor since 1980. he is a qualified Radio amateur GOEPL. He has also been a member of the Henley Court Leet since 1980. He was educated at Wrekin College, Wellington. He served his National Service with the Royal Corps of Signals 1953-1955. He was employed by J Arthur Rank Organisation as Threatre Manager with Circuits Management Association Ltd. He managed the Odeon and Gaumont Theatres from 1955 to 1957. He came to Henley in late 1957 to run, with his parents The Vanity Box. He has now been here 48 years.

Nicholas Haycock was co-opted onto the JPC on 19th January 2009. He was educated at Cedarhurst School, Solihull and Leamington College for Boys before coming to Henley as a trainee surveyor and estate agent in 1969. Qualifying in 1973 as a Chartered Surveyor, he has spent all his working life in Henley in Arden and has his own premises in the town centre. Nicholas has taken a keen interest over the years in Henley's activities having helped create and run the 'Alternative Regatta' back in the 1990's and was previous chairman of the Sports and Social and Cricket Clubs. He is keen to promote Henley in Arden and to help in the various activities of the JPC with particular interest in law and order, planning issues, local businesses and budgeting, the countryside and allotments.

George joined the Parish Council in June 2004. He has lived on Henley High Street with his wife Ginny for eight years, moving from Solihull. Both of them began contributing to the community soon after arrival by joining the Henley-in-Bloom team. He spent 27 years in the Electricity Generation Industry and after completing a number of projects involving privatisation he left to take up a managerial position in London. George was born in Athens and by qualification is an economist and member of the British Computer Society and Institute of Administrative Management.

Christopher has lived in Henley-in-Arden for 18 years. For 14 years he and his wife were the proprietors of Ace Stores in Whitley Road. More recently he was caretaker of Henley-in-Arden Junior & Infant School until his retirement in March 2006. Christopher wanted to joint the Parish Council to put something back into the community.

Mrs Sheila Dalman was elected to the Parish Council in October 2008. She has lived at Camphill Barn, Camp Lane since 1991.Sheila was born in Birmingham and educated at Sir Wilfrid Martineau School. She then took a Secretarial course and later. Sheila joined the Women's Royal Navy as a Writer General. She left the Royal Navy to marry her husband Stephen. Their two grown up children live in Henley. Sheila is currently working as an Office Administrator in her husband's family manufacturing business in Birmingham which was established in the late 1800s. Her interests include walking, horse riding and reading. She joined the Beaudesert and Henley in Arden Parish Council because she is genuinely concerned with the future of Henley and those that live in Henley.
