Introducing the Parish Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer
Paul Hill is Henley-in-Arden's new Parish Clerk, taking up the role on 18th September 2006. Paul, who is 59, lives in Shipston-on-Stour and is married with two children and three grandchildren. He is a qualified chartered accountant who has spent much of his working life after qualification in industry, and is now looking forward to working in a completely new environment.
Paul is a member of Stratford-upon-AvonBaptistChurch and has been a trustee of a Christian charity , African Pastors' Fellowship, for 10 years. His interests include music (he plays the piano - although not for public consumption!), and still plays tennis, badminton and the occasional game of cricket to keep fit. He enjoys walking, and has recently returned from holiday in Tanzania where he climbed Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain.
